About the Contributors

Laura Barcella is a 21-year-old college student in Amherst, Massachusetts. Originally from our nation’s lovely capital, she aspires to one day live in New York City and write for a living; preferably at one of those snooty, snotty, pretentious magazines. She loves The Smiths and Morrissey, sour gummi candy, and griping her days away in her house. She also enjoys procrastinating and not going to her classes. She works as the Women’s Issues editor at her school’s daily newspaper, where she writes evil articles about how to get called a bitch (speaking from experience, of course). Her work has been published in numerous print and online zines and lit mags. [9]

Keith Buckley haunts the ruins of 21st Century Wombat Studio, surrounded by hillocks of unpublishable pornoviolence, mountains of unreleased “music” by his band, The Walking Montage Brothers, and bales of golden retriever fur. While he occasionally produces coherent nonfiction concerning 19th century gravestone carving
and the periodic cicada, he claims the real reason he writes anything at all is “because it’s more fun than being dosed with thorazine.” Mr. Buckley, his stunning Amazon mate, and 21st Century Wombat Studio can all be found in the hinterlands of south central Indiana. [12,13]

Tony Byrer is a lifelong slacker and an underachiever. Currently between jobs, he spends his days shuffling between the computer and the television. Tony lives in southern Indiana with his sweet long-suffering wife, five cats, and a black lab mix with flappy lips and no balls. You can read more at http://ygrii-blop.livejournal.com. [11,12]

Larry Falli likes doing nothing, and the more of it the better. He likes going nowhere, fast. His world view is a bit manic, but not pathologic. He’s either king of the world and unstoppable, or so apathetic, what’s the point in trying. He likes cheese. He really likes chicken, but he’s too lazy to eat aroung the bones. He likes dogs, the bigger the better, and also like cats, usually stir fried. He’s known to ride around Chicago in the dark of night on a stealthy all black Trek, or a terrifying Super Glide. He dreams of someday meeting Attilla the Hun, but it would probably be futile, because of the language differences. Everyone hates lawyers… until they need one, then they want the nastiest one they can find. If you can find him, he’s as nasty as they get. [8,9,10]
